*This exhibit challenges people to think about how they perceive themselves. Students, faculty, and staff at Montclair State University were asked the simple question: “What do you see when you look in the mirror?” The answers were funny, sad, shocking, and everything in-between. Using diverse mediums, these self-proclaimed statements were put onto mirrors of different sizes, shapes and ages; some are cracked and flawed, some perfect. When viewing this exhibit, we hope that people can look deep inside themselves and truly reflect on their feelings towards their bodies as well as to be able to see through the words on the mirrors to what exists beyond the reflection.
