On Monday, October 19th, the Livingston Board of Education approved two bond proposals that voters will be asked to vote on at the Tuesday, December 8, 2009 Special Election. The first proposal provides facility upgrades to the elementary and middle schools and the second proposal provides for solar panels for all schools. 40% of the funding for the first proposal would come from the State of New Jersey and the Livingston Public Schools would receive 40% debt service aid for the second proposal.  Please visit the LPS website to learn more and for updates.

In order to vote on December 8th, you will need to be registered to vote. If you are not registered or have recently moved, the deadline to register is November 13th. Please click here to access the voter registration form.

Superintendent of Schools, Brad Draeger, and Business Adminstrator/Board Secretary, Steve Robinson, will be going to each school during their November HSA/PTA meetings to speak about the two bond proposals. If you would like to attend, but can’t make it to your school for its scheduled meeting, you are welcome to attend another schools’ presentation and leave after.
