Livingston Mirror Project – Saturday, April 24th @ Monmouth Court Community Center

by: Robert Allen Monday, April 19th, 2010

FREE and open to Middle School and High School Students and Parents

Please join us in creating our own Livingston Mirror Project on
Saturday, April 24, 2010, 2:00-4:00 pm
@ Monmouth Court Community Center (26 Monmouth Ct, Livingston, NJ)

Following the successful introduction of the Montclair State Mirror Project to Livingston last year (see link here) we decided it would be a great idea to expand the project and create our own mirrors around the question of identity, “Who am I?” The program will open with an introduction by Montclair State University about the history of the Mirror Project followed by the creation of a mirror that reflects your identity. If you have a mirror that you want to use, please bring it, otherwise mirrors and art materials will be provided. Refreshments will be provided.

The mirrors will then be exhibited during Youth Appreciation Week at the Town Center, Livingston Library and at the Livingston High School. You may withdraw your mirror from the exhibition at anytime. The mirrors will be exhibited anonymously.

If you would like to attend please RSVP to lycs@livingston.org. Please call Susan Ridley at 973-535-2646 for further information.
