Detour:  My Rocky Road Back to [Mental] Health is the personal story of Lizzie Simon, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder only days after she was accepted to Columbia University.  This life-changing detour drove her to travel across the country to interview people with bipolar disorder and raise awareness in important work, ranging from production of video segments for WebMD and a documentary for MTV and appearances on television shows, including CNN and NPR.  With her, we can engage in a new conversation about mental health of our teens and discuss important strategies for coping with these kinds of challenges.

Engage in a new conversation about the mental health of our TEENS.
