Pennies for Puppies Collection with LYCS and CareOne

Pennies for Puppies is a collection for cotton towels in support of The Seeing Eye, which will begin with two events. In collaboration with the Livingston Youth and Community Services program (LYCS), CareOne of Livingston will be hosting a Dog Show on Saturday, September 26, 2009 (2:00-4:00 p.m.) at 68 Passaic Ave (2nd building in back).The MC for the Dog Show will be Bob Shannon of 101CBS Radio who will be on hand to present prizes for Best Trick, Best Costume, Best in Show and Best in Size (Toy/Small, Medium and Large). In addition, there will be a Penny Collection and Baskets for cotton towels for The Seeing Eye which raises and trains dogs for the blind. So bring your friends, family and neighbors for an event to remember!This is an amateur event and not affiliated with any professional or non-professional dog show or organization. October 3, 2009, 2:00-4:00 p.m., the LYCS program is hosting a presentation from The Seeing Eye at Monmouth Court Community Center (26 Monmouth Court, Livingston). Come and meet Anita and Campie (a 4 ½ year old golden retriever) as they talk about the wonderful work that these service dogs do for their human companions. Bring your pennies and/or cotton towels to support this wonderful service. Food and refreshments will be served.
